November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Around the Block

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This is simple to do--just click on the link at the of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go! You probably just arrived from Krista Ritskes' Blog after looking at my artwork you will find the link for the next blog.

This month's Stamp of the Month is Around the Block.  When I first saw this set I was baffled what to do with it but as time went on some very cute ideas emerged (mostly from other consultants).  This first card was done with water color pencils and the use of Moon Doggie papers and colors are Indian Corn Blue and Barn Red.  This card is a 5" x 7".

Now, "hop" on over to Paige Dolecki's Blog - to see her lovely work! If you get lost on the Hop, or find links that aren't working, see list below. Thanks for stopping by!

Adorable! Oooo....I just got an idea (imagine that...LOL)...this perspective makes the houses look like single story houses. I could see trees added and you'd have a whole scene for a scrapbook page!

Thank you for the inspiration.

You did a real nice job coloring your houses. That is what I struggled with using this stamp set. But I think your idea of using colored pencils instead of markers is what made the difference. The colored pencils are a much more 'muted' look, while the markers tended to be too dark and 'harsh.'
