Masculine Cards

The last month (May) was a time to get ready for Father's Day.  I'm usually a day behind rather than a day ahead.  Once I saw the new Jack Workshop Your Way, I became really excited about making masculine cards of any kind.  So what do consultants do when that happens?  They have a workshop!

These are the cards that we made which are all standard size cards (4-1/4" x 5-1/2"):

Here is a closer look at each card.  First such a handsome guy:

Next is a card that came from the optional card workshop (that can be downloaded from the here).  I always add a few changes just to switch it up:

Finally the last one.  I just love this cutie bear!  I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest that gave me the idea for this card, however, I can't remember where I saw it but that had such cute projects.  If this was your idea, I'd love to give you credit here.  ðŸ˜Š

No Worries Blog Hop

Happy June everyone and welcome to our No Worries Blog Hop.  We will be showcasing items from our new Seasonal Expressions II Idea Book with various projects created by talented Close To My Heart consultants. So, relax, take your shoes off and enjoy the journey.

If you just arrived from Marty Barnett's Blog, Queen Bee Art, then you are on the right track, if not, please start at the CTMH Blog Challenge and Support Group Blog Hop Guidelines beginning with our hostess Carol, at Crafting with Carol.

Below you will find my project which is a 5" x 7" card for a retiring supervisor who will be leaving at the end of the month:

Next is the inside of the card:

And I thought you would be able to see from a close up my use of the Clear Shimmer brush on the umbrella and the sand to give it that little extra glint but I'm not sure it's showing up:
