Mojo Monday 179

It has been quite a while since I've done a Mojo challenge.  I just love holidays because it gives me a chance to catch up on some badly needed therapuetic-create time.  So, below is the sketch.  I just love the sketch all by itself!

Now, here is my rendition of the sketch. It is a "standard" size card.

SuppliesSweetheart WOTG kit; D1361 Thank You; Cotton Candy, Baby Pink, White Daisy White & Black CS; Black & Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks; Resist Chipboard Flowers; new pink assortment brads; Black ribbon rounds (retired); Sizzix butterfly embosslet; Sizzix embossing folder; and Martha Stewart border punch.

I have to tell you about the Resist Chipboard.  The pieces I used were from a retired set.  But these are such fun because you just sponge on color and the white color pops!

I hope you will all get a chance to try this challenge!  In the meantime, I hope your Monday was blessed.  I know mine was (thank you Lord for your mercy on a soul like me and thank you St. Anthony--long story for another time)!

Mojo Monday 160 and the November Stamp of the Month

Oh my gosh I just loved the Mojo Monday 160 sketch and decided that this was perfect for the November Stamp of the Month called "A Little Thanks".  This is a super set that can say thank you in so many ways!  Anyway here is the sketch:

Using the Olivia paper which I have been dying to break into since the Idea Book came out, here is what I did with that sketch (but I reserve the right to change or update it).  Oh well....

Supplies:  D1444-A Little Thanks SS; Olivia Paper Pack; NE Ivy, Barn Red CS & Exclusive Inks (EI); NE Ivy Organza Ribbon; Cocoa Opaques (little pearls on barn red CS); Holiday Buttons Collection; Corner Rounder Punch.

Oh course you know there will be more to come on the November Stamp of the Month!  And I still haven't gotten to Halloween out of me yet.  :-)

Mojo Monday Sketch 155

I love Mojo Mondays and wish I had more time to do more of the sketches. I was glad I had off Monday because it gave me time to work on a card. I decided to use the October Stamp of the Month because I wanted to play with the new Mistletoe Papers!

Here is the Mojo Monday Sketch # 155:

Here is my standard size card:

This next one shows the dimension of the card and the inside.  The pinkish color is really glitter but the camera just doesn't pick up the shiney-ness.

Supplies:  D1443 Share the Magic Stamp Set; Mistletoe Paper Pack; Creative Basic Mistletoe Collection; Silver Ribbon from the Creative Basic Mistletoe Collection; Cranberry, Garden Green, NE Ivy markers; Prisma Glitter; Licorice Opaques adhesive gems.

Have a terrific Thursday.  I'm off to take First Aid Training!

Mojo Monday #130

It has truly been forever since I've posted.  I was in Las Vegas, NV for an IBM Pulse Conference and since then things have been super crazy and super busy.  So with a swap that is featuring the April stamp of the month (Flower Pot)- I decided to also make it this weeks Mojo Monday #130 artwork.

Here is my artwork featuring the Caboodle papers (aren't these colors just the springy-est?  I tried to stay true as I could to the original sketch design which I really like!

P.S.  Happy St. Patrick's Day!  St. Patrick suffered mightily at the hands of the Irish, but rather than seek revenge, he came back to share his faith.  St. Patrick, pray for us!

Mojo Monday 123

Oh my gosh I totally missed Mojo 122.  It seems like I come home from work and just vegetate.  TV has been inbetween seasons so I've been watching reruns of Criminal Minds which I never watched before this month.  They are pretty interesting....  Anyway, here is Mojo 123 sketch:

Mojo Monday #121

OK, this is my first Mojo Monday that I actually posted to the Mojo site.  It is Mojo Monday 121.  Here is the sketch:

My friend Karen (the one who got me into stamping) has a birthday coming up this month and so I decided that this year I would make the cards for my loved ones instead of swaps!  Seems I never get to make cards for those I really want to make them for.  Anyway, here is my card from this Mojo sketch:

The inside says "It's Your Birthday!"
