Another 1st Birthday

My beautiful little granddaughter Zoe will soon be having her first birthday.  I wanted to make her a special card and I just LOVE the Nursery Bash set.  This card took me ALL DAY!  I stamped the giraffe the day before but didn't know exactly what I wanted to do with it.  I came across some old card blanks (from 2005 is the copyright) and decided those were the colors I wanted to use.  So I just kept adding more and more stuff to the card until it finally looked like this:

Recipe:  Nursery Bash (Retired) & D1283 Say It In Style stamp sets; Black and Baby Pink Cardstock; Black & Hollyhock Exclusive Inks; Stardust Glitz Glitter Glue; Liquid Glass; Twinkle Brads; Clear Sparkles; White Daisy Just Blooms; Winter Craft Buttons; Z1209 Cranberry Designer Ribbon Rounds; Smitten Card Kit Card Blank (Retired); SU Boarder Punch, Oval Punch and Scalloped Oval Punch.

I just found out that two of  my favorite Birthday card stamp sets have been retired and this is one of the sets (the other is Birthday Wish).  Guess this is made from lots of retired stuff!  :-(

First Valentine of the Season

It's been years since I've created an actual Valentine's card and decided I needed to play with some of the stamps from the new Inspirations flyer. I've been into glitz lately because I didn't get my fill at Christmas time so I put glitter on everything! Here it is:

RecipeA1113 A Game and Amore (December Stamp of the Month) stamp sets; Black, Cranberry & White Daisy Cardstock; Cranberry, Black, and Gray Wool inks; Clear and Red Sparkles, Basic Brad Assortment; Glitter Stack (retired);  and Spellbinders Lacey Squares Dies.

I am just loving all the new A-size stamp sets.  They are SO cute and such a good price.  On my budget it will probably be all I'll be able to afford in the future here!

Introducing Kraft Borders

The new kraft borders will be available on Febuary 1st, but in the meantime, I thought you would like to see just how super cute they are!

Can't wait until February 1st!

New Tools - New Techniques

I thought you all would enjoy this great little video (I didn't make) from CTMH called "Spray Pen Unplugged".  Just my way of plugging it. hee hee hee. I love learning about new fun techniques and cute little tools to do them with!

Now all I have left is to leave you with some artwork.  So, I'm off to create!
