Make Waves Featured Paper Blog Hop

Welcome once again to our Featured Paper Blog Hop featuring Make Waves paper packs and stamps.  We will be featuring various projects created by talented Close to My Heart Consultants.  So make yourself comfy and enjoy the ride!

If you are visiting from Haley Bell Dyer's Blog, then you are on the right track.  If you wish to find the start of the Blog Hop, please start at Carol Loftus' Blog, or you can just continue as the hop does go around in a circle.  But if you continue on the hop, the next stop will be Cheryl Glass Arbo's Blog.  But please feel free to check out my artwork before you go....

Below you will find my project with Make Waves papers and the stamp of the month stamp set.  I fussy cut one of the Mermaids and the flowers from the decorative papers.  And I just thought black backgrounds would set the bright colors off perfectly.  This card is a standard size card.

When I started designing this card, I used the sketch from the Make if from Your Heart Blog free sketch article.  I started with this sketch but modified it for my purposes.

The insides:

Papers:  Make Waves Papers; Black and White Cardstock
Stamps:  S1802 Sunny Thoughts, C1685 Inspire
Inks:  Black Exclusive Inks
Embellishments:  Make Waves Sequins; Bashful Pearls (Ret.)
Other:  Punch for corners of card inside sentiments

A look at the images of the stamp set used:

Be sure to check out the next stop on the blog shop and see what eye candy you will find at Cheryl Glass Arbo's Blog.  Happy Stamping!
