June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

June is a great time to have a blog hop!  If you are hopping thru, you have arrived here from Janelle's Blog.  The June Stamp of the month is D1422 Wonderful Friend and is one of those rustic sets that compliments the Passages papers or is it that the Passages papers compliment the stamp set?  Anyway here's a peak at that stamp set that can be found on the back inside cover of the new Idea Book:

I am SO enamered of the Tri-shutter cards.  Below is the card folded up and the next picture is the card opened.  Then I go into the tutorial below that.

Supplies:  Wonderful Friend Stamp set; Barn Red, Colonial White, Sweet Leaf, Cocoa Cardstock (CS); Red Barn, Cocoa, Sweet Leaf Exclusive Inks, Clear Embossing Powder, Neutral Buttons, Passages Paper Pack; Antique Copper Mini Medley; Colonnial White grosgrain ribbon; Just Blooms Spring Blossoms; Circular Punch; Spellbinder scallob circle die.

Tutorial

Actually, the best tutorial on this is from Splitcoast Stampers because it starts with a base of 6"x12" so all the measurements are based on every 2".  That tutorial can be found HERE.  The video at the bottom of the tutorial is perfect!
