May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

It's BLOG HOP time!  The May stamp of the month is D1421 Cherish the Moment.  What a unique set of stamps for every occasion.  For this month's blog hop, you will see artwork from almost 60 consultants.  HOWEVER, the reason this hop is so special is that not only will you see the May Stamp of the Month but you will also be seeing a wave of new product from the Summer 2010 Catalog!  You have arrived here from Helen Onulak's blog.
My card below features the Cherry-O Level II paper pack.

Supplies Used:  Cherry-O Paper Pack; Cheris the Moment Stamp Set; Chocolate, Sweet Leaf, Tulip, and Colonial White CS Inks; Olive, Indian Corn Blue, Outdoor Denim, and Goldrush CS; Sweet Leaf Ribbon Round; Tulip Mini Medley Accent Collection; Lots and lots and lots of Clear Glitz Glitter Glue (see below).

Ok, you know how sometimes you struggle to get glitter to show up.  Well, here's what happened when I was making my card and finishing it up with some Glitz Glitter Glue.  As I was squeezing to get out some glitter for the flower to make it pop a little more, the cap popped off:

Oh yes, that is gobs and gobs of glitter glue. I tried to salvage the card by scrapping off what I could be the card was all buckly.  The next morning, after it had dried, it didn't look so bad.

It's time now to hop on over to Nancy Brown's Blog to see her lovely work! If you get lost on the Hop, or find links that aren't working, click on the logo link at the start of this post and it will bring you back to Helen Onulak's Blog (where the Blog Hop originates) Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Isn't it great when a mishap turns out not so bad and adds a little "sparkle" even to our lives?! lol. You've now inspired me to want to try brushing on some glitter glue with a paintbrush to intentionally glitz up my artwork - fun fun!! THANKS for sharing your beautiful card and for helping out with the hop so much - you do a fabulous job at all of it!!
